Third International ECSA Conference 2020
24 to 26 May 2020 in Trieste, Italy
It has been twenty years since John Unsworth famously formulated scholarly primitives -- discovering, annotating, comparing, referring, sampling, illustrating and representing -- as a set of basic scholarly activities across disciplines, theoretical frameworks or eras. We will use the DARIAH Annual Event 2020 as an opportunity to re-evaluate and probe the notion and scope of scholarly primitives in the context of the ongoing developments in the field of Digital Humanities and DARIAH’s continuous efforts in shaping an effective and sustainable research infrastructure that meets the needs of humanities scholars.Find out more »

Held in late June or early July, the conference brings library directors and their staff together for three days of networking and collaboration. Delegates mainly come from Europe but people from around the world are welcome, and we regularly welcome guests from countries including Australia, Canada and the United States.
The goal of the conference is to identify the most pressing needs for research libraries, and to share information and ideas for addressing those needs.

FESN will organise its fourth Neuropsychology School being held at the FU Berlin from August 24th to 27th, 2020 (Local Organizers: Professor Michael Niedeggen and Ina Nordwald). The school is addressed to graduate students in their final years of PhD, or early post-docs, as well as clinicians at a comparable level of career.
